Nintendo president Satoru Iwata introduced the New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL to the world in last Friday’s Nintendo Direct.

Now we can see the overview video that presents all of the upgrades that the company are delivering, whether that be the new C-Stick, improved stereoscopic 3D viewing angle, bringing HTML5-support to the Internet Browser, Home Menu themes, built-in NFC and the new ZL and ZR buttons.

The New Nintendo 3DS, although not the New Nintendo 3DS XL, can also be customised with new cover plates with the selection shown drawing from colourful patterns as well as Mario, Animal Crossing, and The Legend of Zelda.

The New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL will release across Japan on October 10th priced at 16,000 and 18,800 yen respectively, with a western launch in 2015.
