With new Necrozma forms and Ultra Beasts, this week’s Nintendo Direct had plenty to keep Pokémon fans happy about what they have to look forward to in the coming months. But, perhaps nothing was as eye-catching as the New Nintendo 2DS XL Poké Ball Edition.
This Pokémon-themed New Nintendo 2DS XL system, as you can see, has a Poké Ball motif. But, what perhaps isn’t clear from the box art is that it has a three-dimensional replica of the Poké Ball’s button in the centre of the system.
Those in Japan, as always, can look forward to something extra in the Pikachu Edition New Nintendo 2DS XL. That, unsurprisingly, has a design with the electric mouse’s cheerful face, which, from images, appears to be raised slightly where its nose is. Hopefully, you can see what I mean, below.
The New Nintendo 2DS XL Poké Ball Edition will release in North America on November 3rd, and in Europe on November 17th.
