New Mario Kart 8 Wii U Deluxe Set races toward retail

Nintendo of America has announced that it has released a new Mario Kart 8 Wii U Deluxe Set, replacing the existing bundle at retail.

Referred to as “a new ongoing configuration,” it comes with a pre-installed copy of Mario Kart 8 as well as a Nintendo eShop download card that will allow consumers to expand the kart racer with the two Mario Kart 8 downloadable content packs that have seen release over the past year.

The new Mario Kart 8 Wii U Deluxe Set is now available at retailers across North America, priced at $299.99.
