Nintendo have released an explosive new trailer for Mario Kart 8, presenting new gameplay content that was announced today.
That encompasses returning characters Metal Mario, Lakitu and Shy Guy, the new Piranha Plant and Boomerang Flower items, and the game’s selection of 16 new and 16 remixed classic courses, which includes the kaleidoscopic revival of Rainbow Road from Mario Kart 64.
Select courses will also be accompanied by music recorded by live performers, although it is unclear as to precisely which will be treated to such tracks.
Mario Kart 8 will release across Europe and North America on May 30th.
