New Infected Shelter Trailer Fights For Survival In A Post-Apocalyptic World

Dark Blue Games has released a new trailer for Infected Shelter, a procedurally generated rogue-lite post-apocalyptic action RPG that’s coming to Nintendo Switch.

It has looked to co-op brawlers like Castle Crashers and rogue-lite dungeon crawlers such as Rogue Legacy and The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ for inspiration.

You play as a member of a surviving group in a post-apocalyptic world, when, on one fateful morning, you wake to find that your shelter has been raided and your people kidnapped for unknown reasons. Leaving your shelter behind, you must brave the harsh, infected land in your search for the kidnappers and the truth behind what has happened.

Whether playing solo or in local co-op with up to four players, you will learn from every run that you make. There are more than 150 blueprints that you can collect to unlock permanent upgrades to help in future runs, meaning that, instead of simply collecting loot, the weapons, clothes, skills, relics and RPG-like character improvements will change how you play.

Infect Shelter will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Q4 2019.
