Nintendo of America have announced their latest hire as being a new vice president of Human Resources.
Whilst global president Satoru Iwata finds himself in a new role as CEO, it falls to Robyn Corr to keep an eye on “employee welfare, compensation, benefits, recruiting, learning and development, organisational development, payroll and HR systems.” Not much pressure, then!
Corr joins from mega-coffee chain Starbucks, with whom she has worked since 1998.
“Robyn Corr brings a wealth of experience to Nintendo,” comments Corporate Resources senior vice president Flip Morse.
“Effective human relations is vital to growing and maintaining any organization, and we’re lucky to be able to access her years of excellence in this field.”
