New Fire Emblem game charges toward Nintendo 3DS

Today’s Nintendo Direct opened with news that a new Fire Emblem game is currently in development for Nintendo 3DS.

With Intelligent Systems at the helm, character designs have been drawn by Kozaki Yusuke whereas Shin Kibayashi has penned the game’s story. Choices made by the player will be of even greater significance, having a more notable impact on the world around you. Nintendo’s Satoru Iwata promised that it will include new challenges, “the likes of which have never been seen in the series until now.”

More information on the as yet unnamed Fire Emblem will be shared in the future.
