New Dr. Mario game treats Nintendo 3DS in Japan

Dr. Mario Gyakuten! Tokkouyaku & Saikin Bokumetsu was announced during today’s Japan-only Nintendo Direct, releasing through the Nintendo eShop directly after the presentation.

Gematsu reports that the title translates to Dr. Mario Reversal! Special Medicine & Germ Buster, which comprises of three separate modes in Dr. Mario, Dr. Luigi and Germ Buster.

The first two can see players rewarded with Special Medicine once a gauge on the right-hand side of the screen is filled, which, once used, will help you in various ways – such as when the screen’s been filled with too many capsules.

You can also look forward to competing against others over a Nintendo Network or Local Play connection.

Dr. Mario Gyakuten! Tokkouyaku & Saikin Bokumetsu is now available exclusively for Nintendo 3DS through the Nintendo eShop in Japan.
