Japanese magazine V-Jump has shared a couple of new details regarding Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call.

New characters will appear, as expected, with Final Fantasy XIV’s Y’shtola and Final Fantasy X-2’s Yuna, Rikku, and Paine being the latest to be confirmed, with Final Fantasy XIII’s Lightning set to receive an alternate costume based upon her new signature outfit in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy. These will continue to be unlocked by collecting crystal fragments, as within the original game.

A new search function was also discussed, where players can find songs by name and create playlists from their favourite pieces.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call releases across Japan in spring 2014.
