New Champions Crowned At The 2019 Pokémon World Championships

More than 7,000 players and fans from around the world descended on Washington, DC this month for the 2019 Pokémon World Championships.

After three days of intense matches and friendly competition, this year’s world champions have been crowned having competed in the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon, and Pokkén Tournament DX.

The winners received a one-of-a-kind Pokémon World Championships trophy, an invitation to the 2020 Pokémon World Championships, and a monetary prize in the form of a scholarship, cash prize, or Travel Certificate – with the prize pool totaling more than $500,000.
