Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a new trailer for Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions on Nintendo Switch.

This has revealed the game’s Story Mode, which, in the Tsubasa Episode, will let you relive the iconic story of Tsubasa Ozora.

That will cover the whole National Middle School Tournament and some of the most epic matches of the original material.

The Tachibana twins, Hikaru Matsuyama, Kojiro Hyuga and many more of Tsubasa’s greatest rivals will appear in the game.

Based on the score and match flow, special cutscenes may be triggered that precisely retrace the story or allow for “brand new surprises.”

This arcade football game comes 10 years after the last, and, based on the manga masterpiece, uses toon shading to produce anime-like graphics.

You will have the chance to lead your team to victory, exchanging super players against rivals in real-time and performing dream skills against your opponents.

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2020.
