tobyfox has announced that Deltarune Chapter 5 will be released for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch later this month.
This latest chapter of Undertale’s parallel story will be made available as a free update to the game, in which you must fight or spare your way through action-battled battles as you explore a mysterious world.
“In Chapter 4, we saw dark clouds on the horizon… That’s why, let’s not look there for now. Let’s turn around and watch the sun, before it goes down completely,” Toby Fox writes in outlining what to expect from the next chapter. “Let’s smile again. Let’s have one more fun adventure, okay? In my opinion, it fits well in the overall story of the game.”
Deltarune Chapter 5 will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch worldwide on 24 June 2026.
