Netflix application receives momentous update on Wii U

It’s taken a surprisingly long time, but the Netflix application on Wii U has at last received an update that brings it in line with other systems.

Aside from a complete visual overhaul, users can now watch straight through an entire season of a series if they wish thanks to continuous play. Whereas you can now switch between individual profiles, and the ability to resume anything that you have previously started watching has been improved.

The Wii U GamePad sees the most significant change, now automatically streaming whichever video you choose to the controller. Before it had presented information surrounding the TV programme or film, however that is no longer the default option.
