Classic NBA arcade action will soon be back, with NBA Playgrounds locking in a date for when you can slam dunk baskets on Nintendo Switch.

The high-flying two-on-two basketball game will let you practice your skills before competing with up to three other players on the console. You will put your talents to use by performing acrobatic jams and catch your opponent unaware with your ridiculous displays of skill.

On your road to victory, you can collect your favourite players from a roster built with current and retired NBA superstars from every team. The playgrounds that you will compete on are scattered around the world, which all leads toward you taking on Allen Iverson.

NBA Playgrounds will release for Nintendo Switch on the Nintendo eShop on May 9th, priced at £17.99.
