Take-Two Interactive has reported “strong results” for the first fiscal quarter, but, in outlining their product releases for the coming months, have revealed a peculiar approach to NBA 2K18 on Nintendo Switch.

That will see the sports title be made available as a digital release when the game launches alongside other consoles in September, with a physical release arriving at a later point that is so far only specified as “Fall 2017.”

WWE 2K18 will be made available in both physical and digital versions at the same time in Fall 2017, with it remaining unclear how much later that will be compared to the release for other consoles on October 17th.

NBA 2K18 will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch on September 19th, with a physical version set to arrive in Fall 2017.
