2K and Saber Interactive have announced that NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 will release on Nintendo Switch next month.

The two-on-two arcade basketball game will have more than 300 players at launch that includes legendary new additions like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, with nearly 200 additional players to be added in updates after release.

You will have the chance to play on 10 exciting playgrounds from around the world, whether that be courts in Washington, D.C., St. Louis, Seoul or Australia, with more options to come in the coming months.

And then, you can expect to be able to perform over 100 signature moves, such as showstoppers like Michael Jordan’s free throw line dunk, George Gervin’s Iceman finger roll and LeBron James’ self alley-oop.

You can compete alone, with friends or against the world in Playgrounds Championship, the new single-player Season mode, four-player online matches, co-op matches against AI, enhanced matchmaking with dedicated servers, three-point contests, off-the-wall power-ups, custom matches and others.

NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on October 16th, priced at $29.99.
