Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections will release on Nintendo Switch later this year.
CyberConnect2 is behind this “one-of-a-kind collection” to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the Naruto anime, which will combine “key gameplay moments from the series that highlight select scenes from across Naruto and Sasuke’s deeply emotional story arcs.”
Pitched as an experience that will immerse both new and long-time fans in an “exciting” action game, you will be able to relive some of the most important and beloved storylines from the series’ history as well as to witness an original story unfold.
With the “largest roster in a Naruto game with playable characters from across the series,” including fan-favourites Ashura and Indra Otsutsuki, the developer has looked to faithfully recreate the anime’s art style, now “delivered with crisp visuals and 60 FPS on new-gen consoles.”
Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections will release at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2023.
