Mystery Case Files: The Malgrave Incident dated for Europe

Nintendo of Europe have today dated the release of Mystery Case Files: The Malgrave Incident, the next instalment for Big Fish Games’ hidden object adventure series.

Due to release exclusively for Wii on September 9th, the storyline revolves around a man named Winston Malgrave who contacts the Mystery Case Files detective agency and claims that he has made the scientific “discovery of the century” – inviting you to his island in the process.

As the Master Detective on the case, you’ll be required to use your powers of observation as you seek out items that are critical to solving the case and learning more about Malgrave’s discovery – a mysterious and intriguing purple dust!

Friends and family can join in the hunt as well, with up to three other players able to join you with drop-in/drop-out co-operative functionality. Aside from this, you can also enjoy competitive multiplayer modes such as Swift Pick, where the fastest player to discover all objects wins, or Tick Tick Pick where the Wii Remote pointer turns into a ticking time bomb that will explode once time runs out. You’ll have to find hidden objects quickly to pass the bomb to the next player, but don’t be the last one holding the bomb!

Mystery Case Files: The Malgrave Incident is due to launch across Europe for Wii on September 9th.
