Curve Games and Cat Shawl Games have announced their block-building party game Block’Em will release on Nintendo Switch.

Pitched as an “action-filled block-building party game for 2 to 4 players,” you will be challenged to outsmart your competition, dodge fireballs and either be the first to reach the goal or be the last Block standing.

“We’re so excited to be launching Block’Em [on Steam] this September,” enthuses Cat Shawl Games’ studio lead Rasmus Östlund. “Block’Em is fast-paced, cute and with its competitive edge, promises to push friendships to the brink! We can’t wait for players to get down to challenging each other with our game this summer.”

The publisher has outlined the game’s key features as below:

  • Marvelous Multiplayer: Up to 4 players online and local co-op
  • Build Bridges or Burn them: An exciting mix of platform and puzzle! Find your way through the vibrant, chaotic arena. Watch out for the fireballs!
  • Push Friendships to the brink: Block’Em brings out your competitive side. A sure way to make friendships stronger… or not!
  • May the best Block win: Beat your opponents in a race to the finish or be the last Block to survive.

Block’Em will release digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide, with a release date still unconfirmed.
