Playstack and Cold Symmetry have announced that Mortal Shell: Complete Edition is now available on Nintendo Switch, news that was shared as part of the week-long Inside the House of Indies holiday event.
Pitched as a “dark and unrelenting action RPG” that promises to test “your sanity and resilience in a shattered world,” In a world where the remains of humanity wither and rot, the dead litter its tattered landscape. You can awaken these long-lost remains of defeated warriors – referred to as Mortal Shells – to occupy their bodies and diversify the masteries of combat at your disposal.
This “formidable package” brings together the game’s content updates and downloadable content, including the game-altering The Virtuous Cycle expansion and the Rotten Autumn content update.
These introduce a new roguelike mode, Hadern as a fifth possessable and playable character, unique Shell shades, a mini-quest, a photo mode, and an alternative boss fight soundtrack from black metal band Rotting Christ.
Mortal Shell: Complete Edition is now available digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
