Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have revealed the Mortal Kombat 11 Premium Edition for Nintendo Switch, which is now available to pre-load on the Nintendo eShop.

The Mortal Kombat 11 Premium Edition ($99.99) contains both the main game and the Kombat Pack, which, over time, will provide access to six new playable characters as downloadable content, seven exclusive character skins, and seven exclusive sets of gear.

The first character to be released as downloadable content has been revealed as Shang Tsung, with Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa lending his voice and likeness to the character after playing him in the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie.

Those looking to buy the gory fighting game from the Nintendo eShop should know that it “requires download of at least 20 GB,” meaning that, if you haven’t already, it’s worth investing in a microSD card.

Mortal Kombat 11 will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide on April 23rd, with Shao Kahn available as a pre-order bonus.
