Nintendo has confirmed that more than one million courses have been created in Super Mario Maker worldwide, in just under a week since the Wii U exclusive launched.
“Worldwide more than 1 million courses have been created in Super Mario Maker in just a single week! Thank you all for sharing your amazing creations!” Nintendo shared in a statement.
It debuted at second place in the UK software charts, unable to surpass Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain’s sales despite a 78 percent decline in sales compared to launch week.
Nintendo also recently revealed that a Super Mario Maker stage will be added to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS.
