Time is running out to grab a Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition before the holidays, and GameStop will provide one last chance to secure the miniaturised replica steeped in nostalgia.

The specialist games retailer has revealed that they have received a “limited shipment,” which will become available to purchase in-store this week.

“GameStop has again received another limited shipment of Nintendo NES Classics today through Thursday,” the retailer shared. “Only available in store, not online. GameStop recommends that customers call their local stores to determine local quantities.”

Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aimé has admitted that the level of demand has been far greater than the company had anticipated, a situation that has seen the device listed for as much as $10,000 on eBay by resellers looking to cash in on the stock shortages.
