Bethesda Softworks will release more games on Nintendo Switch, encouraged by their chance to have worked closely with Nintendo to port The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to the portable home console.
The publisher has so far released DOOM, Fallout Shelter and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, with with free-to-play collectible card game The Elder Scrolls: Legends to hit the Nintendo eShop this year.
“Well there’s definitely interest,” Bethesda Game Studios director and executive producer Todd Howard explained to Gamereactor, when asked whether there was a chance that mainline Fallout games could come to Nintendo Switch.
“It’s not something that we are exploring right now. We think Switch is a great platform – it was the first time we really worked closely with Nintendo on Skyrim – and really, really great experience, and we’ll certainly be doing more things there in the future. But right now it’s not a mainline Fallout 4.”
