Monster Hunter XX Demo Hits Nintendo Switch On August 10th

Capcom has announced that a Monster Hunter XX Nintendo Switch Version demo will see release on the Nintendo eShop in Japan next week.

The demo, which, now that Nintendo Switch is region-free, can be downloaded by anyone with access to the Japanese Nintendo eShop, will include three quests with local multiplayer support for up to four players – the full game supporting cross-play between Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS.

Capcom has been coy on whether the game will receive a western localisation, but are preparing to go loud in their home country with a Limited Edition and console bundle.

Monster Hunter XX Nintendo Switch Version will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch in Japan on August 25th.
