Hot on the heels of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Capcom have this week announced plans to release Monster Hunter Frontier G to Wii U later this year.

The trailer below shows that much of the core concept remains the same – embarking on quests with friends, crafting weaponry and armour, and taking on monstrous foes – although there’s one key difference with this latest entry. It’ll require a monthly fee, although keen adventurers can download the game for free.

Monster Hunter Frontier G releases across Japan on December 11th, with no news as yet on a western release.
