Monster Hunter 3G achieves nearly half a million sales

Monster Hunter 3G was able to achieve first week sales of 471,055 units in Japan, the latest figures from Enterbrain confirm.

Such sale tracking is for an entire week, it must be remembered, and such a figure only encompasses the key Nintendo 3DS release being on sale for just two days.

It’s arrival also allowed the Nintendo 3DS to celebrate its most successful week of sales, achieving 378,114 units.

This has allowed the handheld to cross the three million install base previously estimated by Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata, now sitting at 3,237,272 across Japan alone.
