Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures Inc. have filed an application for a new trademark in Japan, that covers the term Monpoké.
Serebii reports that the registration includes the special logo that you can see above, but, at this point in time, it is unclear whether it relates to games, merchandise or an event.
