Monolith Soft starts “urgent” mass recruitment drive

Xenoblade Chronicles X developer Monolith Soft is has started a staff recruitment drive across the company’s Tokyo and Kyoto offices.

Their Tokyo head office lists vacancies for a programmer, planner, 2D designer, effect designer, motion designer and project manager, with a 3D computer graphic designer listed as an “urgent!” hire. For that, they are specifically looking for someone with 3D mapping and modelling experience.

Whereas in Kyoto they have a “Mass recruitment!” drive for the same role, alongside looking to fill effect designer and motion designer positions.

Monolith Soft’s Tokyo office has been responsible for developing Wii’s Xenoblade Chronicles and Wii U’s Xenoblade Chronicles X. Whereas their Kyoto studio regularly assists Nintendo’s teams with their internal Wii U and Nintendo 3DS projects – namely being Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Pikmin 3, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Splatoon and Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer.
