The Pokémon Company International have announced that Monika Salazar has been appointed as their new Director of Licensing.
With more than 15 years of management experience in lifestyle licensing, marketing and product development, she will look to secure expand the brand in the Americas, Australia and New Zealand while supporting development of their merchandise licensing program.
“The Pokémon brand has an incredibly enthusiastic and passionate global fan base,” Salazar shared. “I look forward to creating new and innovative ways for fans to share their love for Pokémon.”
Salazar was most recently Hasbro’s Director of Global Integrated Marketing at Hasbro, managing several brands including My Little Pony and Transformers.
