Miyamoto caught playing Media Molecule’s Tearaway

Media Molecule are creative geniuses, and I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t adore them.

Tearaway, their latest project, sees players navigate a vibrant papery world as plucky messenger Iota, and we’re envious that their creation’s a PlayStation Vita exclusive.

Yet that doesn’t prevent admiration from all angles, with Polygon’s Mike McWhertor catching the legendary Shigeru Miyamoto checking the game out at Sony’s E3 2013 booth.

Nintendo, a pioneer for many years as the industry laid its foundation, are always keen to see how other game creators are shaping their own vision, and Media Molecule’s latest has clearly caught their attention.
