Nintendo of America has announced plans to launch Mini Mario and Friends amiibo Challenge, a free Nintendo eShop title for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

As the name implies, players will be required to scan an amiibo figure with which they can guide one of 11 minis through more than 60 levels.

Any compatible amiibo figure will work, however specific amiibo will let you guide minis that have exclusive level sets or unique abilities – such as mini Mario’s wall jump or Mini Yoshi eating enemies.

This will become available from March 25th at select retailers, when a bonus download code will be provided with any amiibo purchase. Then, it will later become available for free on the Nintendo eShop on April 28th.
