Nintendo has revealed that Min Min from ARMS will join the battle as the next DLC Fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

As Super Smash Bros. series director explained in today’s 35-minute presentation, Min Min is an 18-year-old ramen lover who works for the Mintendo Noodle House.

She will wield her extendable ARMS – the Ramram, the Megawatt and her laser-firing Dragon ARM – which can be controlled individually and used to access a diverse range of tools.

As to why Min Min was chosen out of all the fighters from the candy-coloured fighting game, Sakurai explained that ARMS producer Kosuke Yabuki  had recommend that she be selected – a choice that he had agreed with.

Min Min’s accompanying stage is Spring Stadium which has interactive elements such as the ability to damage opponents when making contact with them after using a jumping platform. You will also be able to bounce off the striking ceiling arches when they are launched, and ARMS drones will deliver items to aid you in battle.

There are 18 tracks from ARMS that will be added to the game’s soundtrack, which include new arrangements of “ARMS Grand Prix Official Theme Song” and “Ramen Bowl.”

Min Min will release on Monday 29th June (Tuesday 30th June in Europe), and can be bought separately for those that haven’t purchased the Fighters Pass Vol. 2.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
