Miitomo Update Version 1.4.0 Now Available


Nintendo has pushed live a software update for Miitomo, which now sees their free-to-start social experience sat at Version 1.4.0.

As promised in their notification last week, this has added Candy Drop, a new game that will let you spend sweets that you have collected to unlock game tickets.

Miifoto of the Day is now optional, with the image quality having now been improved. Players can also choose which friends they would like to receive answers from, Brazilian Portuguese has been
added, and improvements have been made to the app’s speed, among other changes.

Nintendo outlines the changes introduced in Version 1.4.0 as follows:

  • Candy Drop, a game where you drop sweets to get game tickets, has been added.
  • Sweets are no longer required to listen to all your friends’ answers.
  • You can now choose whether or not to receive the Miifoto of the Day.
  • You can now choose individually which friends you receive answers from.
  • Image quality of Miifotos you save to your device has been improved.
  • Brazilian Portuguese is now supported.
  • Other improvements to speed and features have been implemented.
