Mighty No. 9 surpasses PS3, 360 and Wii U Kickstarter stretch goal

Having raised more than $2.2 million in just 15 days, comcept’s spiritual successor to Mega Man as been confirmed for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U.

Having become one of Kickstarter’s significant success stories, backers of Mighty No. 9 can now continue to pledge toward securing an additional Challenge Mode, an Extra End Stage & Boss, and the Beck & Call Online Co-op Challenge Mode, if funding eclipses $2.75 million.

Though console versions are now in the pipeline, the game, which sees Beck as its protagonist, is projected to release in April 2015. So, there’s a fair wait for it…
