Nintendo of America has revealed that Metroid: Zero Mission will at long last see release on Wii U’s Virtual Console service tomorrow.

Samus Aran’s Game Boy Advance adventure is an enhanced remake of her first outing in Metroid on the Nintendo Entertainment System, modernised to match the improved gameplay standards established in Super Metroid.

It was re-released on Wii U’s Virtual Console service in Japan on 19th June 2014, and in Europe just shy of a year later on 12th March 2015. But, for some unknown reason, those in North America have been left waiting considerably longer.

Thankfully that wait is now over, with Nintendo slating it to see release as part of tomorrow’s Nintendo eShop update.
