Metroid Prime Trilogy Listed With June 19th Release Date

Long-rumoured to be coming to Nintendo Switch, Metroid Prime Trilogy has been listed for release on the portable home console next month.

Swedish computer specialist retailer Inet has updated their listing for Samus Aran’s galactic adventures with a release date on 19th June 2020.

It seems far too soon to be true, especially to potentially shadow drop a retail game in under a month without any announcement. But, this comes after Paper Mario: The Origami King was revealed two months before release and rumours that any plans for a Nintendo Direct in the short-term have been put on hold.

If it turns out to be true, it will present you with the chance to relive the Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption – or to discover them for the first time – in high-definition on the portable home console.

It will also be a chance to catch up on the bounty hunter’s tale before whatever awaits us in Metroid Prime 4, which is now in development at Retro Studios.
