Metroid Prime: Federation Force was announced in today’s Nintendo Digital Event, releasing exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in 2016.

The Nintendo 3DS exclusive will allow up to four players to connect either online or locally to take on co-operative missions in a new first-person sci-fi adventure set in the Metroid Prime universe.

Gearing up in a mech suit, you’ll work together to clear enemy-infested bases and complete objective-based missions.

Players can also compete in the three-on-three Metroid Prime: Blast Ball, requiring each team to shoot a ball into their opponents’ goal.
