Metro: Last Light teaser site opened

THQ have opened a teaser website for Metro: Last Light, previously confirmed for Wii U release at last year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).

This solely provides a countdown timer aimed toward May 24th, on which there will be a world premiere of a live action short film for the title.

Metro: Last Light is set in the year 2034 beneath the ruins of a post-apocalyptic Moscow. The remnants of mankind are besieged by deadly threats both outside and within, with mutants stalking the catacombs beneath the surface and poisoned skies above.

Rather than stand united, the station-cities of the Metro are locked in a struggle for ultimate power – a doomsday device from the military vaults of D6. A civil war is brooding that could wipe humanity from Earth altogether, and the player, in the role of Artyom, hold the key to its survival.

Metro: Last Light will release during Q1 2013.
