Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D fails to breach UK Top 40

Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D has failed to debut within the UK Top 40 All-Format, amidst fears that Snake’s camouflage proved to be too effective between the likes of BioWare’s blockbuster space opera Mass Effect 3 and Capcom’s Street Fighter X Tekken.

Mass Effect 3, Street Fighter X Tekken, The Sims 3: Showtime, Unit 13 and a resurgent Mario Kart Wii were the only new entries, with Naked Snake’s popular outing nowhere to be seen.

Within the platform-specific Nintendo 3DS chart however, things appeared a little more positive. Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D entering in fourth place, falling behind Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land and Mario & Sonic London 2012 Olympic Games.
