Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D dated for North America

Coinciding with news of a European release date for Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, Konami have also confirmed that it will launch across North America on February 21st.

The anticipated remake will see new features exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS, including an all-new camouflage photography system that will allow the player to take photos of real-life items or surfaces that are then translated to Snake’s Camo Suit in game. Although, you’ll have to take pictures of objects coloured similarly to Snake’s environment to ensure that these are as effective as possible.

The game also includes a first-person camera mode, support for the handheld’s gyroscopic capabilities, and utilises the new Circle Pad Pro accessory.

Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D is due to release for Nintendo 3DS across North America on February 21st, and in Europe on March 8th.
