Triolith Entertainment have launched Megatroid across iOS and Android devices.
The free-to-player title, inspired by Mega Man and Metroid, sees you play as Galactic Rebel Information Network (GRiN) member Hali, as you set out to free the galaxy from the Imperium against an 8-Bit soundtrack.
Fighting by your side is your robot pet S.P.A.K.K. (Self Propelled Aerial Kinematic Kitten) who also relays GRiN’s instructions to you.
Megatroid generates its stages, allowing the player to have a different experience each time they play. You can also share generated stages with friends cross-platform, and purchase weapons and armour in both the Black Market and Premium Market.
