The Pokémon Company International has revealed that Mega Zeraora will appear in the Pokémon Legends: Z-A Mega Dimension paid downloadable content.
It has been teased that getting the Mythical Pokémon for your team “might be a little difficult,” but you will be able to encounter the Thunderclap Pokémon as you play through the downloadable content.
“Zeraora has incredibly high aptitude to begin with, but typically it has an internal limiter that works to contain the electric energy stored within its body. It’s thought that Mega Evolution removes this limiter,” the company explains.
“Mega Zeraora decides of its own will when it releases its energy and unleashes its full power. Trainers wanting to partner up with Mega Zeraora will either need to trust its decision or be so in sync with it that they can match its timing.”
In Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension, Trainers will revisit Lumiose as spatial distortions begin to form around the city. Donut chef Ansha and her companion, the Mythical Pokémon Hoopa, will guide players as they explore the mysterious dimension known as Hyperspace Lumiose,” a press release explains.
This not-quite Lumiose City is home to newly discovered Mega-Evolved Pokémon and other Pokémon not usually found in Lumiose, some of which can exceed the normal limit of Lv. 100 with hyperspace levels.
The Pokémon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension paid downloadable content will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch worldwide on 10 December 2025.
