Capcom has announced that Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 + 2 will release on Nintendo Switch, seeing the Blue Bomber blast his way onto the portable home console in time for his 30th Anniversary celebration.

Mega Man Legacy Collection has the original six adventures from the Nintendo Entertainment System, whereas Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 throws in Mega Man 7 which had released on the SNES, as well as Mega Man 8, Mega Man 9, and Mega Man 10.

The games will have a brand-new “rewind” feature that, unsurprisingly, will let you roll back gameplay by holding a button to course correct any mistakes.

With a gallery of concept sketches, box art (like the infamous original Mega Man box art), production art, and music from each game, Mega Man 9 and 10 will also include all previously released DLC – adding in time attacks, bonus stages, and more.

Those that scan any Mega Man amiibo in Mega Man Legacy Collection will unlock 11 fan-made challenges, and also unlocks new challenges in Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 that will challenge your platforming skills.

Mega Man Legacy Collection ($14.99) and Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 ($19.99) will release on the Nintendo eShop and will be available at retail ($39.99) with an exclusive Mega Man 30th Anniversary cleaning cloth on May 22nd – with Mega Man Legacy Collection on the game card and Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 as a digital download.
