Dentsu Entertainment USA and Man of Action Entertainment have partnered to create an animated series based on Capcom’s Mega Man franchise.

Deadline reports that the 26-episode series will be released globally, with Dentsu holding worldwide broadcast and licensing rights.

Whereas Man of Action Entertainment will be responsible for creating, writing and executive producing the series in entirety, which is targeted to air in 2017 to coincide with Mega Man’s 30th anniversary.

Meanwhile, Dentsu Entertainment USA may be a name already familiar to you, already helping Hasbro and TV Tokyo Corporation to bring LEVEL-5’s hugely successful Yo-Kai Watch westward.
