Mega Man amiibo to unlock Challenge stages in Mega Man Legacy Collection

Capcom has announced that Mega Man Legacy Collection will incorporate amiibo integration on Nintendo 3DS, rewarding players with ten additional stages in Challenge Mode.

These will require the Mega Man amiibo to unlock, with the Challenge Mode comprising of stages that merge areas and key moments from the Blue Bomber’s classic adventures together into fast-paced gauntlets.

The ten additional challenges will be designed by the players, with Capcom having now started a Challenge Contest to select the best entries. Head on over to Capcom Unity for the official contest rules, which will run until Friday 25th September 2015.

Mega Man Legacy Collection will release on Nintendo 3DS in 2016.
