Mega Evolution confirmed for Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon

Japan’s CoroCoro Comic has shared more than the details surrounding Hoopa’s distribution event, in sprinkling some new Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon details.

That mainly brings confirmation that Mega Evolution, which was first introduced in 2013’s Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, will have some presence in the game. Whereas we learn that Hoopa Unbound will also make an appearance.

The artwork that you see above will also be used for a 3DS HOME Menu theme, which is to be made available as a pre-order bonus in Japan.

Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in Japan on September 17th, North America later this year and in Europe and Australia in early 2016.
