NIS America and Aquria have released a new The Caligula Effect: Overdose trailer, presenting a chance for you to meet the Ostinato Musicians.

The role-playing game takes place in Mobius, an idyllic world that exists to let people forget about the pain and problems of reality. It was created by a sentient Vocaloid program, μ (Mu), and, with reality and fantasy blurred, allows people to relive their high school years in bliss.

In the trailer, you will learn how, compared to the original PlayStation Vita release, you can choose to betray the Go-Home Club and side with the Ostinato Musicians to preserve the false utopia of Mobius and terminate anyone that tries to escape.

.This villain’s route will show how the line between reality and fantasy isn’t always black and white – traversing the gray under a new identity to uncover the traumas that the Musicians hide.

The Caligula Effect: Overdose will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide on March 12th.
