Epic Games, Kong Orange and Wired Fly have offered you the chance to meet Prince in a new video for Out of Words, which is in development for Nintendo Switch 2.
“In the Meet Prince video, join art director Mikkel Maltesen for an overview of the character Prince,” the publisher explains in a press release.
“The video takes the viewer through the several iterations of his design, from early concepts to the final character model. The team discusses how they translated his dapper personality into his design, as well as the importance of his role as one of the only characters with the ability to speak.”
Whether locally or online with cross-platform play, you will team up with a friend or family member in this co-op platformer adventure. Exploring the wild and colourful realm of Vokabulantis as Kurt and Karla, you will experience a story about the first time they held hands – where everything you see is crafted by hand.
The publisher has outlined the game’s key features, which include:
- A Handcrafted Adventure: From puppet masters, to programmers to poets; this is the unique game development team behind Out of Words. From the mind of acclaimed poet Morten Søndergaard, co-developers WiredFly and Kong Orange carefully designed and crafted each stop-motion character, environment, and co-op mechanic to tell a story with a distinctly human touch.
- A Journey For Two: Solve physics-defying puzzles in ancient catacombs and perform daring stunts among the clay skyscrapers of Nounberg, Out of Words is a journey for two, and this adventure will require cooperation, communication and perfect timing between you and your co-player.
- A Story About Finding The Words: The world is at stake – and so is your relationship. Kurt and Karla become entangled in a battle for the future of Vokabulantis and their friendship itself. Traverse the wonders and dangers of the world of Vokabulantis and falling in love. Kurt and Karla may save this wonderland — but at what cost?
Out of Words will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide in 2026.
