McDonald’s secure Super Mario deal for Happy Meal toys

Nintendo UK have joined forces with McDonald’s, which will see them shortly introduce Super Mario-themed toys within the company’s Happy Meal range.

The fast food giant, which in November this year will celebrate the 40th anniversary since they opened their first UK restaurant, remains a popular choice among young children, such arrangement sure to drive further interest behind Nintendo’s most iconic creation.

Whilst the £1.99 meal option is currently heavily involved in helping to promote The LEGO Movie, the McDonald’s Advantage Club reveals that the company’s next promotion “invites kids to Run, Jump and Power Up with Super Mario!”

As to what toys will be available is unknown, although a similar promotion by the chain across Europe late last year saw Mario, Luigi, Peach, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Toad, and a Mushroom toys available to collect.
